Hello there,
"Colors have a way of invoking emotions, capturing memories, and making moments truly magical."
Isn't the above saying true? Wouldn't you agree? Colors and inks are truly magical creation of humankind, inspired by nature ofcourse :) They make eevrything look so beautiful, even with only black and white too sometimes. It just depends on the eye of the looker and the imagination which runs in our mind.
'Inking technique' is really a simple word, which has infinite bounds of techniques wrapped inside it. This is limitless idea track and super fun and so creative.
Although I didn't do much of it more often, I am always happy to come back to it once in a while and hence this class sparked those inking joys and color plays so much within me again :)
As always, there are 2 different ideas expressed here and also, as you have noticed, from the last 2 posts, I have used same product and use in 2 diff ways and change the look. This is the last post in my journey of Altenew Academy Level 1. I hope to continue this journey with same zeal untill next year and hopefully soon, I will be there at the end mark of all levels soon and the happy dance days :)
The techniques/Learnings from this class are as follows: Direct-to-Paper Inking, Painting with inkpads, stamp block inking, brayers and ink pads etc.
My creation details:
Card 1-
How to: I have used the negative piece of the die cut, cut it from the galaxy inked background, which has shimmery shine also to it. And to make it more expressible and shiny, I added glossy accents also on some of the pieces randomly. This pop ups the design too. In-laid technique is fun but soemtimes it takes a lot of time with the dainty pieces , but having that adhesive on the back side before die cutting will help to stick them faster, without much fuss.
Die: Moroccon Mosaic Cover die
Ink Colors: Galaxy colors
Others: Gold embossing powder, Champagne glitter cardstock, Glossy Accents, Altenew double sided adhesive tape
Card 2-
How to: Lots of drama on this card, because I wanted to create one! shaker cards are super fun and my favorite techniques too. I feel they make even the simple cards interactive, without actually making them so interactive using speciality dies or without adding special fun folds.
As this one is the negative piece from the same die we used in Card 1, and the galaxy background was so pretty, It was hard for me to just let it go and hence this card comes to rescue. I added it on the foam tape on borders, put a acetate on the back, added shaker bit in background and wallah...we have the most dramatic card ready easily.

Last, some more images/close-ups for both the creations are here-
This is the last class of Level 1 classes and I am so super proud of myself to finish and reach till this part, although I started super late in joining and learning all the cool techniques, even after getting enrolled in the course long time age!
Wish you a very nice time and hope to see you soon with my Level 1 challenge post soon (When I get my challenge task), I hope!!
Regards
