Fairy Tale with a twist: October GD - The Twisted Challenges

So the new challenge has started today on The Twisted Challenges blog, which is: Fairy tale + your own twist:

I have been invited as the Guest designer for the same and with all my efforts, here is the project I created to match the theme:

Daughters are the angels sent by the God in all of our lives. Stop female infanticide, and let us love this beautiful creation of god.
Each girl, who was the victim of infanticide, has gone deep inside the jungle and created their own magical world. They fulfill each other's wishes and live happily there. When they are unwelcome in the world we live, they created their own special place to enjoy and remain angels with happiness all around.

I hope you will like my project and will play along with the team this month and have some twisted fun with your art.

Monochromatic Birthday Celebration

When you celebrate something, It ought to be in colors or in other words, it must look lively and joyous. But what if you have just one color to show your all emotions with a sense of happiness hidden inside it.

That's what this month's challenge did to me-The Twisted challenge #4 :

I had hard time imagining how can a celebration be depicted with just one color or its shades and still give a happy feeling.

Still, I feel, finally I tried to show the challenge theme in a way it was expected and I really felt happy with the outcome:

I have used only one color (Blue) and its 3 shades to complete the entire card. White and black were obligatory to pop the monochromatic color used here and give some variation to the monotonous look.

Hearty Wishes for you always!!

Hearty wishes in any endeavor you do, to the receiver of this card :)

This will be second entry for the ongoing Mudra Challenge #25:

I have used Magnolias stamp set and cut the image in a way, that each piece can be layered upon each other to create a floral bouquet pattern.

Here is the card I have created:

Thinking of You!!

A simple thinking of you card, to make someone feel special :) Whether you are far apart or near them, just a simple saying can bring a smile on their face.

Entering my handmade happiness for the first time into Mudra challenge #25:

The challenge is all about layering it up. I have layered my image onto 2 different cardstock, the base layer of cardstock has just a partial image to complete the picture. And then , the coloring is also layered up.

Love you MOM

"But there's a story behind everything. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking. But behind all your stories is always your mother's story, because hers is where yours begin.”
― Mitch Albom, For One More Day

The purest form of love and the purest soul with godliness, that's what a MOM is all about. I can never explain what this word means to me, by any form of expression, be it art, writing, speech.. anything is not enough for this word and this relationship.

Thus, without further writing, I just want to show that I created something in quilling after a loooong long time and quillography, definitely the first time. The sketch, the concept, all designed by me.

The photograph might not do justice with the actual creation, but tried my best to capture every detail and keep the cleanliness intact while creating this piece.

Bloom with joy !!

I have not used any stamps here. Just some hand drawn orchids (for the first time) and did water coloring.
For the background, i just gave a soft gentle sky blue color to complete the finish look for the card.

Here are the pics:

I will be entering this card into following challenges:

This will be my first post for the challenge and hope to create more soon. I am entering this into the following category: #thedailymarkercoloringcontestbeginner  :) The Daily Marker Coloring contest - post 1
