How is everybody doing? I am not sure if anybody ever joins and comes to read the blog posts. But I love writing and documenting everything as it feels happy and makes me go down memory lane and also sometimes I love to go back and check details if needed. Win-win for all situations to have a blog.
This year, it is my kind of tresolution that I really want to join all the pinkfresh studio challenges and not miss any for 2025. Let's hope how much I can achieve!
and be honest with my resolution. Hence, I challenged myself that in any case that I had to definitely use only vellum to create something for this challenge.
I usually never use vellum naturally in my creations but I do create lots and lots of acetate as I looove shaker cards, they are fun, super easy and quick to work with. Also, everyone loves a sweet shaker.
Here is my creation for this month:
Some details:
I have used a pastel or dirty purple shade of the cardstock. On the front of the card, it is only half panel of that colored cardstock and other half is vellum. I adhered both and made full front panel. Once done, I just gold heat embossed the background stamp:'Sweet Bloom' . Post this, colored the florals from: with copic shades of purple (V17, V15, V12, V01).
I also cut a gold mirror cardstock using the essentials frames die (Pretty frames essentials die) and then just arranged everything as you see on the panel. Very fun and different than my usual work :)
