So, as you have already understood, today's post is based on the Gratitude and thankfullness :)
It was along time pending topic for me to cover on the blog post through my creation. Today is a good day to reflect the same.
Also, the post today belongs to the monthly challenge (Jan 2025) hosted by the pinkfresh studio, where they have given a full liberty to chose between so many themes and I decided to go with this one for my entry. To be precise, I have used the Nov 2024 with 'Thank you' theme and hence that will reflect on my creation too.
As always, let me share the creation first here and all related details around the same below:
The details of the creation are as follows-
- For the base, I have started to use some mint green cardstock from my big paper stash and this makes my process easy to color blend on the same. I wanted to give this card a bright and bold look (maybe weather impacts my mood in creativity, but thats my usual liking too).
- I have used a background cover die from Pinkfresh: Stitched Diamonds.
- Once the paper base was ready, I have used these colors to ink blend the cardstock: Peacock fetahers and uncharted mariner distressk inks. For the leaves: Fossilized Amber, Dried Marigold and Carved pumpkin.
- Then I had made other embellishments like the leaves, Vellum heat embossed florals, Nested frames and Thank you gold heat embossed sentiment, placed and arranged all of these in diff ways untill i was happy with the look you see above.
- Finished the card with some gold sequins also from Pinkfresh Studio.
