Sending Smiles :)

Hello dear crafty friends,

Hope you all are doing great and taking good care of yourself. It's been a while I have written any blog post, sometimes, it just happens like that. But, here I am, back again with a new blog post :)

Also, it's summer time, so its more of my outdoor time, to go hiking, biking and just be with nature. I feel we have all the more reasons to do so, because of the social distancing rules we have to follow.

Talking about nature, look at this amazing mood-board challenge this month at Create A Smile blog:

While looking at this image, all the awesome candies starting popping into my head and the summer ice lollies! Specially the orange and lime ice lollies.. Oh my my... the moodboard has  just so summery and feels tasty! Yeah, call me crazy :)

Ok, I think I should talk more about challenge than my fantasy land. Haha! Let's see my creation first to cater the moodboard:

About the card:
I have used the Freebie stamp from the Create a Smile's blog.I love this monster image so much. The background is done by the embossing paste using the Create a smile triangle pattern stencil. The lower part of the card is an alcohol inked panel cut out with strip of washi tape added to give some extra interest and feel to the card.

Have colored the monster images with Faber Castell polychromos in shades of green and yellows.
Finally, assembled everything as shown. Wanted to make it look like the monsters are floating around everywhere on this card and creating nuisance with their naughty smile!

Added the sentiment from Create a Smile Added wishes stamp set.

Sharing some more images below:

Hope you liked my creation and stay safe. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Regards
Disha
