You make my heart happy!

 Hello there,

A newborn is pure joy and love! They really make our hearts happy and full for the whole lifetime. Well, not a random thought, but the crux of my creation today!

I created this for a dear friend's daughter, who has turned 1 month old this month. And before it's too late, I decided to just capture her beautiful memories in my scrapbook style creation.

I was trying to go a diff way for this month's challenge because somehow card making wasn't giving me that mojo. This idea came in the meanwhile and I decided to give it a go.
Scrapbooking doesn't come to me naturally but I am so happy after looking at the final creation and super glad that I decided to give it a try.

Project description:

I have handout the frame and gave it the rusty colors from the altenew ink family (matching the colors from the inspiration challenge post). The background is made with the Altenew deck planks embossing folder and dry brushed with white ink pad.

Rest all the die cuts were colored matching the Inspiration image and I tried several variations of how the elements should be placed and which is going well where. Initially, it felt like struggle, but soon, I liked this placement and stuck all the elements together. I have also used embossing paste, mixed with peach color and stenciled with altenew dotted stencil in the background (peeking from behind the die cuts).

Finally, have used some metallic threads and bronze sequins from the altenew family and gold splatters.

The sentiment was a perfect addition to give the layout a closure I feel. It's from one of the Altenew floral sets.

This image from the Aug Altenew inspiration challenge really intrigued me soo much to participate in any possible way I can! M so glad I pushed my limits and did something totally out of my comfort zone this time.

Hope you loved what I did here and thank you for always stopping by and loving my art.

Have a good day :)
